Azov Concord docked at Zonguldak Port

The Turkish-owned ship ‘Azov Concord’, which was stranded in Ukraine, was rescued with the ‘Red Line’ diplomacy and docked at Zonguldak Port with iron ore loaded.

The Maltese-flagged “Azov Concord” cargo ship belonging to the Turkish company, which was stranded in Mariupol, Ukraine, was rescued by the “Red Line” diplomacy and arrived in Turkey by passing through the safe corridor with a load of 8,154 tons of iron ore.

Built in 2008, the 141.19-meter-long, 18-meter-wide ship docked at Zonguldak Port.

It was learned that the iron ore carried by the ship, which started to unload its cargo, will be used in the iron and steel industry in the region.

Military delegations headed by Turkish and Russian generals assigned as part of the “Red Line” diplomacy met in Moscow, and after the meeting, the ship named “Azov Concord” became the first foreign ship to leave Mariupol Port, which was under the control of the Russian army and separatists.
