Following the storm warning issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, many cargo ships carrying international cargo took shelter in the natural harbor of Sinop.
Before the storm, which was expected to be effective in the city, the ships carrying international cargo, as well as the fishermen, did not sail at sea and started waiting in fishing shelters.
The wind speed is expected to increase up to 75 kilometers per hour due to the storm, which is expected to increase its impact from night hours.
Strong wind was effective throughout Gerze district. Two trees fell onto the road due to the wind. Municipal teams removed the fallen trees from where they were located.
In its statement, Sinop Governorship asked citizens to be careful about the negativities that may occur during the storm.
