It was reported that construction equipment was sent to the region with TGC Sancaktar and TGC Bayraktar ships after the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş and affected 10 provinces.
In the post made on the social media account of the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that the TCG Sancaktar and TCG Bayraktar ships belonging to the Naval Forces set off for Mersin to deliver construction equipment to the earthquake zone.
It was noted that there were also sleeping bags, blankets, tent heaters, generators, food supplies and search and rescue equipment on the ships.
