Exports worth 438 million 272 thousand dollars were made from Sakarya in September

The most exported sectors in the city were the automotive industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, chemicals and products, machinery and parts and steel, respectively.

Automotive, Sakarya’s locomotive sector in exports, covered 87 percent of foreign sales alone. In addition, compared to September 2022, the rise of the ready-made clothing and apparel, jewelry, electrical-electronics and service, ship-yacht and services sectors was noteworthy.

Last month, Sakarya business world exported to 127 points in the world, including free zones. The top 5 countries in exports were France, Poland, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany, respectively.

SATSO Chairman of the Board of Directors, Akgün Altuğ, stated that they left behind another month of production and noted that they were more motivated during the rises and continued on their way without losing morale during the downturns.

Stating that the state’s support will be their greatest strength in increasing production, Altuğ said, “Our industrialists want to produce in a motivated way and are counting the days for their new investments.
