In cooperation with İMEAK DTO İskenderun Branch and District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, information training was given to students at the adjacent Secondary School.
İskenderun Coordinator District Governor Miyase Demirkoparan, İMEAK DTO İskenderun Branch Chairman Kemal Kutlu, Branch Manager Ahmet Taştekin, District Agriculture and Forestry Director Sinan Uğurlu, and officials from the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate attended the event.
Fisheries Engineer Nimet Aytekin from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry gave training to students on “Fish is Health”, Food Engineer Derya Parlar on “Food Hygiene”, Technician Hande Deniz on “Food Waste” and Veterinarian Hasan Ballı on “Animal Love”.
IMEAK DTO Iskenderun Branch President Kemal Kutlu stated that, as in the past period, IMEAK DTO Iskenderun Branch will continue educational activities for students in order to protect our seas and introduce marine creatures to new generations, and that protecting the Iskenderun Gulf and our seas can be achieved by consciously educating new generations.
After the training, fish and bread were served to the students by İMEAK DTO İskenderun Branch.
