Scientists from the Ukrainian Scientific Center for Marine Ecology are analyzing the quality of groundwater.
The research, conducted jointly by scientists from the Ukrainian Scientific Center for Marine Ecology and the ‘Let’s Do It Ukraine’ environmental movement, analyzes the quality of rivers and groundwater in flooded cities and villages along the Dnieper River.
The collected samples are being evaluated for toxic pollution entering the Black Sea as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station.
The results of the investigation will be used as part of criminal cases.
