The international swimming event “An-Aqua Swimming Race”, held for the 2nd time this year in Antalya, will be held tomorrow.
In the open water swimming competition organized with the support of Konyaaltı Municipality, athletes will swim in the 1500, 3000 and 4500 meter stages on Konyaaltı Beach. A 500-meter night race stage will also be held within the scope of the competition. Athletes will swim with illuminated swimming balloons.
The fastest Turkish woman to swim across the English Channel, which separates England and France, and ultra-marathon swimmer Bengisu Avcı, will also take part in the organization.
Konyaaltı Mayor Semih Esen, in his statement, stated that nearly 400 athletes from 8 countries will participate in the organization and invited citizens to watch the colorful and exciting races.
