Chinese bulker operator Jinhui Shipping and Transportation sold the 2004-built supramax Jin Feng to Singapore’s ETL Shipping.
The company, which is listed on the Oslo and Hong Kong stock exchanges, is selling the 52,700 dwt ship, which VesselsValue estimates is worth $10.25 million, for approximately $8.1 million.
The Oshima-built ship, which Jinhui bought under the name Tai Hawk in 2021 for 10.8 million dollars, will change hands between October 25 and November 15 this year.
The owner of 24 bulk carriers, mostly supramaxes, said it plans to keep all net sales proceeds as general working capital.
