Karpowership, owned by Karadeniz Holding, which provides energy to different geographies of the world from Asia to Africa, from Europe to the Americas, operates in the sector it entered in 1996 with 36 ships with an installed capacity of 6,000 MW.

The power plants with a range starting from 30 MW up to 470 MW, such as Ghana, Indonesia, Mozambique, Zambia, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cuba, Guinea Bissau and Senegal, Brazil, Cuba, New Caledonia, Ivory Coast, Dominican Republic operating in countries. Karpowership started negotiations to break the route to a new country. This country is Trinidad and Tobago, located in the Caribbean Islands.

In Trinidad and Tobago, one of the richest countries in the Caribbean with a per capita income of $25,000, the first meeting was held in the past weeks. Minister of Energy and Energy Industries Stuart R. Young, Turkish Ambassador Bengü Yiğitgüden and Karpowership Board Advisor and former Ambassador Şander Gürbüz attended the meeting held at the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Energy office. During the meeting, which was announced on the official website of the Ministry of Energy of Trinidad and Tobago, information was exchanged about the work of the Turkish company, and the steps towards the energy need in the country were discussed.
