Upon the information that the Turkish sailor aboard the SAFFET AGA ship sailing to Izmail Port, he was ill, his medical evacuation was carried out.
The following statements were included in the statement made on the social media account of the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs:
“After the notification that a Turkish sailor was sick on the ship SAFFET AGA, which was 51 miles away from the Port of Constanta, sailing to the Port of Izmail, AAKKM contacted MRCC Constanta and requested a medical evacuation, our sailor was evacuated and sent to the hospital.”
