DEME has signed a major offshore wind farm contract in Poland.
Belgian marine contractor DEME, together with cable manufacturers NKT and TFKable Group, has signed a major contract for Baltic Power, the first offshore wind farm to be built in Poland.
DEME’s landmark offshore wind project in Poland involves the engineering, supply, construction and installation of export cables for the wind farm jointly developed by Poland’s Orlen Group and Canada’s Northland Power.
The 1.2 GW wind farm, which will be the largest offshore wind project in Poland, will be located near Łeba, 23 km off Poland’s Baltic Sea coast.
