Parts of Erdemler 6 ship, which sank off Maltepe Coast, were landed

The ship Erdemler 6, which capsized as a result of the breakage of the rope on which it was attached to the pier during the southwesterly in Istanbul Maltepe, capsized and started to land after it was disintegrated by the divers. While the parts of the ship were brought to the surface with the help of a crane, the works were viewed from the air with a drone.

On November 30, 2021, on the coast of Maltepe, at the National Defense Pier in the Yalı Mahallesi, where it was connected, during the southeastern region, the Erdemler 6 ship capsized as a result of the breakage of its ropes.

After the sinking ship was cut into pieces by divers under the sea, the landing efforts continue.

Parts of the ship, which were cut by divers under the sea in about a month and a half, were unearthed with the help of a crane. The work of removing parts of the ship was viewed from the air with a drone.

WE BURNED THE SINKING SHIP

Vedat Coşkun, one of the divers, stated that the work to break up the sinking ship continued for 45 days and said, “We have been working for 45 days. We smashed the sinking ship. We have now started the extraction process. We are slowly taking it out,” he said.
