Savino Del Bene announced that it acquired the Turkish company Transocean Shipping.

Transocean Shipping, a Turkish company that has been operating in maritime transportation since 2002, was acquired by Savino Del Bene, an Italian company that has been operating in Turkey since 1999 and provides international logistics and transportation services.

With this move, which strengthens Savino Del Bene’s position in the Turkish market, the company aims to further strengthen its operations in the Mediterranean by taking advantage of Turkey’s strategic location. It is noted that the experience and expertise that Transocean has developed with important industrial steel and aluminum businesses is an important point in the acquisition.

Savino Del Bene Middle East and Africa Regional Director Nunzio Perna commented on the acquisition: “The acquisition of Transocean strengthens our operations in Turkey and confirms our commitment to long-term investments with the aim of creating new synergies, business opportunities and employment. “I am very pleased to have Transocean and its team with us,” he said.

Currently, Transocean provides services with a team of 60 people in Izmir, Istanbul and Mersin. For now, the two organizations will continue to operate independently.
