The cargo ship, which was brought to the surface after sinking at the pier at Iskenderun Limak Port on September 18, is taken to Izmir with the help of tugboats.
Work has been completed for the transport of the Togo-flagged cargo ship “Sea Eagle” with 3,120 gross tonnage, which has been brought to a floating position, to Izmir.
The ship, which was set out with the help of a tugboat, is planned to be in Aliağa for 3-4 days if the weather conditions are favorable.
In Iskenderun Limak Port, on September 18, 2022, the ship lying on its side at the pier it was docking for loading took on water and sank, the containers that fell into the sea were removed, and 63 tons of fuel on the ship was evacuated.
After the work, the ship was unearthed on 2 January.
