In the USA, a search was launched for the crashed Marine F-35 plane after the pilot survived.
US Army Spokesperson Major Melanie Salinas said in a statement that an F-35 aircraft belonging to the Marine Corps malfunctioned while flying in the North Charleston region of South Carolina.
Stating that the pilot survived by jumping with a parachute, Salinas stated that search efforts have been launched in the region for the crashed F-35 plane.
While the search efforts continued by land and air, the authorities asked the local people for help in finding the plane.
It was noted that the F-35 aircraft in question was on a training flight and another F-35 participating in the same training returned safely to the air base in Salinas.
