Sefine Shipyard held a steel cutting ceremony for the live fish transport ship it will build for Intership.

Sefine Shipyard held a steel cutting ceremony for the NB66 Live Fish Transport (LFC) ship that it will build for the Norwegian wellboat company Intership. The ship’s design belongs to Norwegian SALT and is classified by BV.

The ship, which is 80 meters long and 17 meters wide, will use 4 x Yanmar 6EY22ALWS / 1500 kW x 900 rpm in the main generator sets and 4 x Brunvoll FU63LTA1550 FPP 500 kW in the main thrusters. The LFC vessel has the capacity to carry 4000 cubic meters and 6500 cubic meters of fish.

The ship is planned to be delivered in 2024.
