The passage of ships loaded with crude oil departing from the Ukrainian and Russian ports through the Bosphorus was viewed from the air.

Recently, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Maritime Affairs reported that 8 of the 24 crude oil tankers that want to cross the Turkish straits from the Black Sea direction passed through the Bosphorus, presenting the letter of confirmation that the P&I insurance is valid. Two more ships, one from Russia and the other from Ukraine, loaded with crude oil, which presented a letter of confirmation on the “Indemnity and Liability” insurance, passed through the Bosphorus yesterday.

During their passage in the Bosphorus, the ships loaded with crude oil were accompanied by pilots from the Black Sea coast to the exit of the Bosphorus. At the same time, tugboats affiliated to the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were on board against a possible danger. The moments when a pilot passed from the giant ship in motion to the boat of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were captured from the air.

While Russia’s ship Europe 1, which carries crude oil and departs from Novorossiysk Port, goes to Piraeus, Ukraine’s ship Atlantis Andaman, which departs from Reni Port and carries oil, goes to Mersin Port.
