Turkey’s largest military ship, TCG Anadolu, met with visitors in Izmit Bay on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
Those who came to the 1 March Ferry Pier to see TCG Anadolu, the first multi-purpose amphibious ship capable of carrying helicopters and aircraft, went through security control starting from 13.00.
Those who gathered to see TCG Anatolia were transported by ferries to the ship anchored offshore.

Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz stated to the journalists that he visited and examined TCG Anadolu with tears in his eyes and expressed that he was very happy to see the level that the Republic of Turkey and the navy have reached.
Yavuz emphasized that TCG Anadolu is an indicator of the Turkish Century and called on everyone to visit the ship, which will remain in the Gulf of Izmit until December 6.
