Tenzor International Cup sailed in Bodrum

At the opening ceremony held in the morning of the first day, Bodrum District Governor Mustafa ÇİT presented the host and organizer of the competition, Istanbul-based AP Tesis Yönetimi A.Ş. Burak Zengin, chairman of the board of directors, and Kate Tsepliaeva, board member who carries out the international connections of the races, made speeches.

Bodrum District Governor ÇİT expressed his satisfaction for the Tenzor International Cup, which is a candidate to be among the world’s important sailing races, being held in Bodrum. He emphasized that Bodrum has taken important steps towards becoming a brand in international organizations.

Burak Zengin, the administrative and sports director of the organization, announced that they will host the world champions in every stage of the Winter Series of the competition and that the USA teams will also be present in the final stage of the competition. For this purpose, he said that they kept the quality at the highest level at every stage and organized an event technically at the level of the Olympic races. In her speech, part of which was in Turkish, Kate Tsepliaeva explained that they set out to create an international sailing organization in Turkey.

12 local and foreign teams, including Russin Bogotry and Tenzor Team, who have degrees in the World and European Championships, are participating in the first stage of the 5-stage races.

The first day of the competitions, whose chief referee was Can Giray, was marked by heavy rain. Rain, which affected the strength of the wind, caused the first day’s races to start delayed.

The first stage races will end with the awards ceremony after the races on Saturday and Sunday.
