A malfunction occurred in the rudder of a privately owned boat operating between Adalar and Bostancı in Istanbul.
There was a short-term panic among the passengers on the boat whose rudder was locked. The boat was pulled to the pier with the help of rope.
The incident took place yesterday morning off the coast of the Islands. According to the information obtained, the rudder of the passenger boat making the Adalar-Bostancı voyage was locked. Realizing the malfunction in the helm, the captain stopped the engine and asked for help.
Thereupon, another passenger boat waiting at Bostancı pier to make the Islands voyage went to help. The boat, backed up with a rope, was pulled to the pier.
While there was panic among the passengers on the boat, the boat was pulled to the pier and taken for repairs. Those moments were reflected on the mobile phone camera.
