After the strong storm warning was issued by the meteorology between Bodrum and Marmaris, many boat owners took precautions on the coastline, while the storm on the Akbük coast of Menteşe caused great damage to the boats. Although it is a cove located inland, which is the favorite beach of day-trippers, it was adversely affected by the storm.
In the storm that started at night, 4 fishing boats were sunk and 7 boats were damaged. The 3 wooden fishing piers in the bay, used by the fishermen, were also dismantled and damaged due to the storm.
