TURMEPA fleet collected 5 million liters of liquid waste

While the Aegean and Mediterranean regions, which host the most special bays of our country, attracted great interest from local and foreign tourists, our seas were under the protection of TURMEPA this year, as every year. TURMEPA boats collected 5 million liters of black and gray water from 10 thousand boats throughout the season, preventing it from entering our seas.

TURMEPA Fleet, which grows and expands its area of ​​influence every year, continued to be a hope for our blue future with a total of 10 waste collection boats, 4 in Göcek, 2 in Bodrum, and one boat each in Çeşme, Hisarönü, Selimiye and Adrasan. TURMEPA, which provides mobile waste collection services to yachts and tourist boats in regions where boat tourism is most intense, has once again had a productive season and achieved great success in liquid waste collection. In June, 10 boats collected 5 million liters of black and gray water from 10 thousand boats throughout the season, preventing it from entering our seas. Thus, the amount of liquid waste collected by TURMEPA in 29 years reached 52 million liters!

Meets the needs in the regions without any problems throughout the season; TURMEPA I, TURMEPA III, DTO Fethiye and TURMEPA Ford Otosan boats are in Göcek, TURMEPA II is in Çeşme, DenizTemiz 3 is in Hisarönü Gulf, DenizTemiz 4 is in Selimiye, TURMEPA S and TEKİROVA 1 are in Bodrum, The Phantom boat is in Adrasan. It continued its activities until November. TURMEPA boats, which were put ashore for wintering and maintenance and repair works at the end of the season, will continue to serve to transfer the blue seas safely to the future next season.
