In the statement, it was stated that Minister Austin gave instructions to send the aircraft carrier fleet to the Eastern Mediterranean in order to be ready to assist Israel in the attacks launched by Hamas, and that the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford and the cruisers and attack ships that would accompany it were heading towards the Eastern Mediterranean. It was emphasized that it was directed.
It was stated that steps were taken to increase the US Air Force’s F-35, F-15, F-16 and A-10 warplane fleets in the region, and said, “The USA has its forces ready globally to further strengthen this deterrence posture, if necessary.” The statement was shared.
