Med Marine and Spanish Boluda Towage signed a sales contract for one MED-A2575 RAmparts 2500-W series harbor tug in the summer of 2023. The tug was renamed VB AHMOSE. Med Marine last delivered VB Magnum to Boluda in April 2023.
The tugboat, which has 75 tons of traction power, has a FIFI-E class fire extinguishing system.
It was reported that the multi-purpose tugboat, which has a length of 25.20 meters, a width of 12 meters and a depth of 4.60 meters, will be used especially for handling, towing, mooring and responding to possible fires.
Med Marine Sales Director MelisThc said, “We are very happy to launch the VB AHMOSE, built for Boluda, and we are counting the days for its delivery. We are very happy that Boluda returned to us on this occasion. “We delivered the tugboat called VB Magnum last April,” he said.
