AQS TRYM built by TRX Marine is on its way

The hybrid service boat built by TRX Marine for the Norwegian fishing company AQS is on its way.

The 18.5-meter-long hybrid service boat built for AQS, within the scope of the contract signed by Kocaeli-based TRX Marine with Skagen Ship Consulting, will serve the Cermaq company in the Finnmark region of Norway.

The sea trials of the shuttle boat, which was launched two months ago, were completed successfully. The boat, designed by Macduff Ship Design, was planned to operate 24 hours a day. The boat, called AQS TRYM, will be delivered soon.

Charging from shore or generator

The boat used a hybrid package developed by Bertel O. Steen Power Solutions. The 1156 kWh battery can be charged both from the shore and with a generator.

Features of the boat

The boat is 18.5 meters long, 12 meters wide and 4.60 meters deep. The traction power of the hybrid service boat AQS TRYM, which has a crew of 4, is 21 tons.
