Bulk carrier NYON was boarded by 4 armed persons early in the morning Jun 22, at Conakry Anchorage. Robbers broke in superstructure, and then broke safe, taking all money with them. After committing robbery, they fled the ship, it was a pure case of robbery. Several crew reportedly sustained slight injures. NYON was taken to Conakry, after the incident. She arrived at anchorage on Jun 14 from Algeria.
