Car carrier GALAXY LEADER was reportedly hijacked by Iran-backed Yemen’s Houthis militia or whoever they are, in Red sea on Nov 18 – ship’s last AIS received at 1140 UTC Nov 18, 350 nm NNW of Hodeidah, Yemen. The ship’s en route from Turkey to India, she was hijacked in the belief that she is owned by Israeli company, as Houthis vowed to hijack every Israeli ship, if she happens to sail near enough to be attacked. No AIS during last 27 hours as of 1440 UTC Nov 19, status and whereabouts of the ship unknown. Crew nationalities unknown.
