Ro-ro cargo ferry COMMODORE GOODWILL collided with fishing vessel some 4 nm west of Jersey, Channels islands, at around 0530 UTC Dec 8, while approaching Saint Helier, Jersey, from Portsmouth UK. Fishing vessel sank, skipper and other 2 crew missing, SAR under way, with deployment of vessels in the area. lifeboats, helicopters and plane. COMMODORE GOODWILL docked at Saint Helier soon after collision.
