Grain corridor extension negotiations begin - News2Sea

Ukraine announced that negotiations on the extension of the Black Sea grain corridor agreement will begin within a week.

Ukraine’s deputy minister of infrastructure, Yuriy Vaskov, announced that negotiations on the extension of the Black Sea grain corridor agreement will begin in a week.

“Negotiations for the extension of the grain corridor agreement will start in a week and then we will understand the position of all parties. I think common sense will prevail and the agreement will be extended,” Vaskov said.

The Black Sea Grain Agreement was signed between Russia and Ukraine with the mediation of Turkey and the United Nations in July last year to enable the resumption of grain exports from Ukraine’s blockaded ports after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
