Iran seized two ships allegedly carrying 210 thousand liters of smuggled fuel in the Persian Gulf.

According to Tesnim News Agency, Hormuzgan Chief Prosecutor Mujtaba Kahramani provided information on the issue.

Kahramani said, “Maritime security forces seized 2 ships carrying 210 thousand liters of smuggled fuel around Qeshm Island.” said.

The Iranian official noted that the ship’s crew of 14 people was detained.

On Wednesday, Iran seized 2 tankers in the Persian Gulf, allegedly carrying 4 million 580 thousand liters of smuggled fuel.
