UPDATE Dec 19 1400 UTC: RUEN one crew of Bulgarian nationality was medevaced by helicopter from Indian Navy ship early in the morning Dec 18, to be transferred to hospital. Reportedly he was badly injured in an accident on board, details unknown. Hijackers allowed medevac, something new in Somalia piracy practices, if hijackers are indeed, Somalia pirates.
The ship was taken to northeastern Somalia coast in the Puntland region, Indian ocean, probably anchored some 50 nm NNE of Eyl town, once pirates den.

UPDATE Dec 18 1300 UTC: Under way, passing Horn of Africa, looking like she’s to sail south along Somalia coast.
