Ship carrying grain from Ukraine reached Tekirdag - News2Sea

Within the framework of the “Grain Corridor Agreement”, the grain-laden ship departed from Ukraine and reached Tekirdağ.

Following the grain corridor agreement signed between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations (UN) in Istanbul on July 22, the ship loaded with grain from Ukraine reached Tekirdağ.

Within the framework of the agreement, the ship named “Sormovsky” became the first ship to reach Tekirdağ after the grain corridor agreement.

Within the framework of grain shipment, the Belize-flagged ship Sormovsky carrying 3,500 tons of wheat reached its port from Chernomorsk to Tekirdağ.

After the necessary controls are completed on the ship moored off the coast of Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ, the ship will be ensured to dock at the port and the unloading process of the grains coming from Ukraine will be started.

4 days ago, the Ministry of National Defense announced that the ship named Sormovsky, carrying 3,50 tons of wheat with Belize flag, departed from Chernomorsk to Tekirdağ within the framework of grain shipments.
